This is our popular, award-winning retreat format with a strong hold. 3 daily guided sessions, full board glorious vegan meals, Noble Silence from 8:30 at night until mid-day the next day. This is for those who need to retreat, re-juventate and re-balance their body mind and soul.
Gertrud will guide you on an adventure in the centre of your being, stepping into intimate connection with your self. Using breath and mindful movement, she guides you to somatic awareness of your inner space and of your true nature.
As you explore being this way, you will come face to face with the jewels in your crown: the places where you hold on, where you dare not relax into posture, where you, and generations before you, have stored emotions and stresses that have been too difficult to acknowledge.
Through the gentle practice of Embodied Meditation, Gertrud will share tools and philosophies that allow you to melt away those edges and allow awareness and your true nature to arise ever more clearly, in ever more embodied form.
Physically, the practice re-oxygenates and detoxes your entire system. It strengthens your legs, hips and back, and tones your parasympathetic nervous system. It literally alights your inner space and strengthens your energetic connection to source.
You will be held by a firm structure. Daily periods of silence (until mid-day each day) help you reflect and expand into your inner universe. 2-3 hours of free time each day mean that you can swim in nearby waters or just relax in the walled garden.
The house feels like a temple and you will stay in large uncluttered rooms. They look as if they have been styled by Elle. We will spoil you with our healing diet of beautiful gourmet vegan food. Much of it is raw, all of it is free from processed sugar, wheat, dairy and meat. In this way, your digestion quickly rebalances and your body cleanses.
Because of these very specific mindfulness practices your mind calms, your body heals and you begin to shine.

The retreat is intended for all those in need of rejuvenation, rest and relaxation, and those who are seeking a more mystical connection to their existing yoga and meditation practice. Nevertheless, it is suitable for beginners or those already proficient in either yoga or meditation.
Airport transfers are not included, but we will assist in liaison between guests to arrange shared taxis to and from point of arrival and departure.

You are welcome to add additional nights to the end of your stay. Please advise us during the online payment process and we will confirm availability and cost.
Arrive from 3pm on first day, and depart after breakfast on the last day of the retreat.
Structure of the day (a guideline only, actual timetable will be provided on retreat):
7am-8am Coffee, teas or chai in silence
8am - 9:15am Morning self-practice (Guided by Gertrud - meditative movement on the breath)
10am - 11am Raw green smoothies and breakfast. Silence ends at noon.
Noon-1:30pm Light lunch
2pm-6pm Optional excursion on one day to local site of interest.
7:30pm -8:30pm Dinner (After dinner, silence begins each evening and ends at noon the next day)
The house was renovated using low-toxin and natural materials.
Guests with cat allergies need to be aware that cats visit our garden from neighboring properties, but are not permitted in the house.
Many of our meals incorporate nuts, including peanuts.
