Join Sue and Anna on an amazing bespoke Yoga and Fitness retreat in the South of France.
The retreat is designed to balance cardio, HIIT and strength training with dynamic flow yoga and more restorative Yin style yoga. This combination, coupled with a specifically designed clean, organic vegan menu, will ensure that you spend each day feeling your physical and emotional best
We’ll do a strong dynamic energising practice every morning to set you up for the day. The practice will be vinysana flow, based on an Ashtanga style practice. This will be a perfect beginning to the day; offering energy, strength and vitality, it’s a practice that will waken your body, mind and spirit.
In the evening, we will do a gentle and meditative Yin style yoga practice to enable you to relax, rest and prepare yourself for a restorative and restful night’s sleep. Yin yoga is based on traditional Chinese Daoist practice and philosophy. Using the 5 Elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, we will experience a holistic treatment practice, based on the Chinese seasons and symbolising the circle of life and growth and helping us to re-set our body, mind and spirit to our natural best.
Thorough out the day, there will also be a couple of guided fitness sessions. These cardio and power-based fitness classes will help to boost your circulation, strength and stamina and be complement to the yoga practices.
The sessions will comprise
Circuits - A full body workout using all of the muscle groups with fun, interactive stations. This approach can provide benefits such as burning excess body fat, developing lean muscle tissue and improving cardiovascular and muscular endurance
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training is a technique used to create a 100% all-out effort workout through quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods. HIIT workouts can help boosts metabolism, lower body fat, heart rate and blood pressure, as well as help lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity
Toning sessions – designed to target specific ‘problem’ areas such as core strength and development, leg and bum toning
All classes designed to be suitable for all fitness levels and are inclusive and encouraging. Everyone is treated individually and can be trained to their own personal goals and limits.
The strong yoga and fitness sessions will be complemented by delicious ealthy, clean vegan food, the specialism of Yobaba Lounge.
The retreat will be hosted by Sue Uttley (yoga) and Anna Daniluk (fitness) at Yobaba Lounge.
Sue Uttley has practiced yoga for 20 years. With a strong Ashtanga practice, she trained in Vinyasa Flow in 2015 and has been teaching for 4 years. She has also completed Aerial yoga teacher training and is a trained acupuncturist. Sue is passionate about yoga, which she combines with weight-training and cardio workouts and has a keen interest in wellness and healthy eating.
Anna Daniluk is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and nutrition advisor with 4 years experience in teaching HIIT, circuit and body conditioning. Her passion about health started with a personal journey; after dropping from size 18 to 12 she changed her career to help others reach their health goals. Her motto is ‘one small step at a time and you will change the impossible into possible’.
